Computing Buzz has identified several trends in the computer subculture that we think are important enough to comment upon, and we have assembled them here for your consideration.
Needless to say, we are always interested in what our readers think are important, and we would welcome your input.

Computer Industry Predictions
|
|
There's no better way to make a fool of oneself than to try to predict the future. So here at Computing Buzz we thought we'd have a go at it.
We are encouraged and inspired by the likes of Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce. Those two prognosticators came up with hundreds, maybe thousands, of predictions, the vast majority of which were gibberish or just plain wrong, but, to this day, they are remembered and revered for the handful of wild guesses that more or less panned out.
So, we're going to try to add our names to the list of prescient computer gurus who can see into the future. Here we go.

The Buddha was very probably right, but there is no shortage of opinions here at the offices of Computing Buzz. We have an opinion about almost everything at one time or another during the course of a day, and we are not shy about wanting to share them with you. We ask only that you take our opinions for what they may (or may not) be worth. And we would like for you to share your opinions concerning the following topics with us, especially if you are in DISagreement.
Our peers think us fools.
Our creditors think us thieves.
Our priests think us sinners.
Our employers think us slackers.
Our neighbors think us jerks.
Our bankers think us poor risks.
Our wives think us scrooges.
Our professors think us dunces.
And our dogs are quite certain that we are gods.
